Key Responsibilities:

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.

Help monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure, etc.) under supervision.

Support nurses with patient care procedures and preparation for examinations.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.

Transport patients, medical equipment, or supplies as needed.

Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
-
Report changes in patients’ physical or emotional conditions to nursing staff.

Follow all health, safety, and infection control protocols.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Certificate in Nursing Assistant / Healthcare Support or equivalent (if required in your region).

Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is an advantage.

Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude.

Physical ability to assist with patient mobility and perform shift work.

Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.
Preferred Qualifications:

First aid and CPR certification.

Familiarity with basic medical terminology.

Experience in hospital, nursing home, or home healthcare environments.
Tasks
- Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
- Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
- Perform other duties related to personal care
- Supply and empty bed pans
- Serve meal trays and feed patients
- Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
- Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
- Make beds and maintain patients’ rooms
- Bathe, dress and groom patients
- Transport patients between care facilities
- Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
- Answer call signals to determine patients’ needs
