Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces.
• Change bed linens and replace towels and toiletries.
• Restock cleaning supplies and report damages or maintenance issues.
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in all areas.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with laundry duties when required.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work efficiently and maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Education: No formal education required; a high school diploma is a plus.

Tasks

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• Clean and disinfect elevators
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Mend clothing and linens
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Clean changing rooms and showers
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
