Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Manage restaurant floor operations, ensuring that tables are set up properly, food orders are processed accurately, and customers are seated in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and kitchen areas.
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are adhered to, including food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Staff Management & Training:
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage restaurant staff, including servers, cooks, bartenders, and front-of-house employees.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure high-quality service standards.
- Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels during peak hours.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, employee engagement, and retention.
- Customer Service & Guest Relations:
- Ensure that all guests receive excellent service, handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests during the dining experience.
- Promote a friendly, professional, and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the restaurant’s budget, controlling labor costs, food costs, and other operating expenses to ensure profitability.
- Monitor and analyze financial reports, such as sales, inventory levels, and profit margins, and take corrective action as needed.
- Manage inventory and supply ordering, ensuring stock levels are adequate while minimizing waste.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on sales, expenses, and other performance metrics for ownership or upper management.
- Marketing & Promotions:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase customer traffic, including promotions, special events, and seasonal offerings.
- Manage online presence and social media platforms to engage with customers and promote the restaurant’s brand.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and products.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including food safety, alcohol service, and employment laws.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any safety hazards immediately.
- Ensure that all staff are properly trained in safety protocols and emergency procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including budgeting, inventory management, and staffing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Proficient in restaurant management software and POS systems (e.g., Toast, OpenTable, or similar).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s schedule.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred).

- ServSafe certification or other food safety certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in a high-volume or fine-dining restaurant is a plus.
