The Front Desk Agent serves as the first point of contact for guests or clients, providing excellent customer service, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and addressing inquiries or concerns to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.

Check guests in and out efficiently, verifying reservations and processing payments.

Answer phones, emails, and in-person inquiries regarding bookings, services, and amenities.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions.

Resolve guest concerns or complaints promptly and courteously.

Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments as needed.

Maintain accurate records and handle confidential information securely.

Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.

Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles preferred.

Proficiency in computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Tasks
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Process group arrivals and departures
- Take, cancel and change room reservations
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls
- Provide customer service
