Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Execute all cooking methods, including grilling, baking, frying, and sautéing.
  • Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients by inspecting them before cooking.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including proper storage of food and equipment.
  • Monitor food stock and communicate with the Chef or Kitchen Manager regarding inventory needs.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Follow portion control guidelines and minimize food waste.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service establishment.
