The Baker Helper assists the head baker or pastry chef in daily baking tasks, ensuring ingredients are prepped, equipment is cleaned, and baked goods are made according to recipes and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and mixing of doughs, batters, and fillings.

Measure and weigh ingredients according to recipes.

Prepare baking pans and trays with parchment, grease, or liners.

Load and unload ovens and monitor baking times and temperatures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area.

Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and baking equipment.

Package and label baked goods for sale or delivery.
-
Monitor ingredient levels and notify the baker when supplies are low.

Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Prior kitchen or food service experience is a plus.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Basic understanding of baking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs).

Willingness to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
