We are looking for dependable and safety-conscious Long Haul Truck Drivers to transport goods across long distances. The role involves operating heavy trucks over intercity and interstate routes, ensuring timely and secure delivery of cargo.

 Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive long-haul trucks to transport goods to various destinations

  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery

  • Inspect vehicle daily and perform basic maintenance (oil, tire pressure, etc.)

  • Ensure cargo is safely loaded, secured, and unloaded

  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest breaks, and delivery records (e.g. using ELDs)

  • Adhere to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies

  • Communicate with dispatchers and report delays, accidents, or mechanical issues

  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

Requirements:

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements

  • Clean driving record with a minimum of [X] years of driving experience

  • Knowledge of applicable transport regulations (e.g., DOT, HOS rules)

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

  • Physical stamina and ability to sit for extended periods

  • Willingness to travel for several days or weeks at a time

Working Conditions:

  • Extended hours on the road, including overnight and weekend trips

  • Exposure to all weather conditions

  • Time away from home for long periods, depending on delivery schedules

Tasks

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

  • Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
