Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, electrical, and suspension issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Perform alignments, tune-ups, and other maintenance tasks to maintain vehicle performance and reliability.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent to ensure proper documentation and billing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (2+ years) as an Automotive Mechanic with a focus on diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, components, and repairs across multiple vehicle makes and models.
- Ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Tasks
- Inspect motor in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
- Diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
- Repair or replace mechanical units or components
- Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
- Perform scheduled maintenance service
